Right there.
I've made a full version prototype from the released pattern and I can say onw thing:
This pattern is indeed a VERY worthy comtender to the title as the most awesome Toothless Pattern, if you ask me.
(Then again, that's just my opinion, and of course I like my own creation... so don't take my word for it)
Try it yourself! THE PATTERN IS RIGHT HERE:projecttoothless.deviantart.co…
The final specs of the pattern are:
Length: 35-40cm
Wingspan: 60-70cm
Number of parts: 56-64 + detachable tailfin
On to the three D's:
Detail/quality level: Very High
Difficulty level: High (You'll need experience in sewing until I get an easily understandible tutorial online)
Duration Long (expect 8-12 hours of work depending on your type of fabric, luck and skill)
So... was this project a success?YES! But be the judge of it yourself when I get the pictures of the finished plushie up
Will I keep working on it?Yes! I won't produce any more plushies anytime soon and mine is not for sale...
But as promised,
I'll keep adding to the tutorial, so you (Soon) can make your own awesome little Toothless
Oh... and the Christmas sketch giveaway is still on. First reply to this journal will get a free $5 sketch
